Social Medicine Project Curriculum

Residents will learn the tools needed to develop and implement a research project in one of the following areas: clinical research, advocacy, service, or education depending on their area of interest. Research projects can take many forms and with guidance from our core and extended faculty have led to regional and national presentations. Many residents are also able to publish their work.

Interns are introduced to a variety of General Internal Medicine topics by attending the National Society of General Internal Medicine Conference. 2nd and 3rd year residents can return with ongoing research projects.
