As of 2021, we have partnered with the American College of Lifestyle Medicine to bring residents the comprehensive Lifestyle Medicine Residency Curriculum.
Our goal is to have residents feel comfortable with the 6 pillars of lifestyle medicine and infuse their practice with evidence-based recommendations to treat and prevent chronic disease in patients.
Residents have the opportunity to obtain their lifestyle medicine certification over their time in residency.
Physicians and health professionals all over the world are becoming more aware of the importance of behavioral interventions and lifestyle changes in the treatment of chronic disease. Lifestyle medicine, once recognized as a prevention strategy and now a treatment modality, can provide the foundation required to transform sick care into health care.
